Hi, I'm Jen.
ADHD Coach · Educator · Author · Founder, Momentum Mindset
Leaving traditional special education wasn't a career pivot. It was a coming-home moment.
For years, I worked within systems that were designed to fix neurodivergence rather than understand it. But my own journey eventually led to a late-in-life ADHD diagnosis that shifted everything. It wasn't just a label; it was the key to unlocking a lifetime of performing and finally beginning to heal.
Momentum Mindset was born from the messy middle of that revelation. I saw a desperate need for a space where women could stop 'trying harder' and start living with a deep, embodied sense of self. I traded the clinical for the compassionate, building a coaching practice that honors the unique rhythm of the ADHD brain.
My work is grounded in the intersection of nervous-system science and gentle accountability. I believe that we cannot shame ourselves into sustainable change. Instead, we use the ROOTED method to bridge the gap between where you are and where you want to be—honoring the pace your nervous system can actually hold.
Credentials & Training
I hold a Master's degree in Special Education and a certification in ADHD coaching — but the credential that shaped my work most wasn't earned in a classroom. It was earned in the years I spent not understanding why my own brain worked the way it did, and then finally — finally — having it named.
When I received my own ADHD diagnosis as an adult, that work took on a whole new dimension. I wasn't just an educator anymore. I was someone who understood from the inside what it felt like to spend a lifetime performing a version of yourself that was never quite real.
That's what led me to found Momentum Mindset — and to develop the ROOTED Method, a nervous-system-based coaching framework built specifically for women navigating ADHD from the inside out.
My coaching draws on the research of leaders in the field — Russell Barkley, Ari Tuckman, Dr. Roberto Olivardia — alongside somatic work, holistic wellness, and the kind of honest, lived-experience perspective that no certification can fully teach.
I don't work with you because I have the answers. I work with you because I've asked the same questions.
